AMERICAN LITERATURE

We at Broadview have long been known for our lists in British Literature, Children’s Literature, and Composition and Writing. In recent years, we have quietly been developing a truly outstanding list in American literature. We’d like to be less quiet about it!

Richard Millington of Smith College says that “in many cases … the Broadview edition is the finest teaching text available.” Dean Franco of Wake Forest calls Broadview’s American literature editions “the perfect fit for an undergraduate reading list.” Karen Weyler of UNC calls Broadview Editions “some of the best student editions for texts in American literature. These editions are carefully edited, thoughtfully introduced, and reasonably priced. But by far the strongest feature [of Broadview editions are the] contextual sections…. These materials help students see how literature matters.”

For Summer and Fall 2019 and Winter 2020 courses*, each of our 70 Broadview Editions in American Literature will be priced at $10. (Regular prices range from $11.95 to $28.95).

We hope you’ll take advantage of these special prices for your students; we’re confident that, once you’ve given Broadview Editions a try, you won’t want to go back!

*Sale price in effect from February 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020.
