Broadview Book Availability

Notice to all Customers:

Broadview books remain available for sale throughout the United States, Canada, and the rest of the world. Our books are USMCA/CUSMA-compliant, and remain exempt from all tariffs at the Canada-US border.

We continue to ship all individual orders within a day or two. Processing and shipping times may vary depending on the time of year; please place your order 10–12 business days before your books are required.

If your order, desk copy request, or examination copy request has an urgent deadline, please contact our Customer Service Department (customerservice@broadviewpress.com), and Ross and Lisa will do their best to assist you.

Notice to Bookstores:

Broadview’s books are USMCA/CUSMA-compliant, and exempt from tariffs when crossing the Canada–US border. This exemption applies to all American tariffs in place as of August 2026, including tariffs announced by the United States administration on July 20th 2026 under Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930.

If your bookstore is wrongly assessed tariffs on a Broadview order, please let us know; we’ll provide any assistance needed to submit a dispute. Should tariff concerns impact your ability to stock Broadview books, please contact us directly and we will work toward a solution.

As all orders require formal customs clearance, multi-piece shipments may in some cases take up to 9 days to clear the border. We recommend you place orders for course texts as early as possible to avoid delay.
