How do I download my ebook?
Please see our detailed instructions here. It is very important to follow these step-by-step to ensure a successful download.

Why can’t I open this file on my Kindle?
Broadview ebooks are in PDF and EPUB formats, which aren’t compatible with Kindle e-readers. To protect our files, we use Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) software, which isn’t supported by Amazon devices. iOS and Android readers will support our files. If you wish to read a Broadview ebook with a Kindle Fire, we recommend purchasing our books at the Vital Source e-bookstore; Vital Source offers an app that is compatible with Kindle Fire.

What app should I use to read Broadview ebooks on my mobile device?
Our files are protected by DRM, so you need to use a free reading app that can be authorized with an Adobe ID. We recommend Bluefire Reader for both iOS and Android devices. Please click here for more details.

I have downloaded the file and it opens on my computer, but it won’t open in the Bluefire app on my mobile device.
Before installing the Bluefire app and downloading the ebook onto your mobile device, you must ensure that Adobe Digital Editions has been installed and authorized on your primary computer. Unfortunately, if you haven’t done this and you have already clicked on the ebook download link, you will be restricted from downloading the ebook onto any other device(s).

I already have Adobe Digital Editions installed on my computer. What should I do next?
Make sure that you have authorized your copy of Digital Editions with your Adobe ID before downloading your ebook. Then, you can go ahead and download your file to your computer or an authorized app on a mobile device.

I expected different reading features with my ebook.
Our EPUB files give full access to notetaking features (as well as many others). PDF files, on the other hand, are more limited, though they do retain fixed page numbers. For a detailed description of the two file types, please click here. Please note that our PDFs and EPUBs have print restrictions in place.

I don’t know which format to choose.
Please click here for more information about the different ebook formats available from Broadview. If you are interested in looking at both file types for a single title, we recommend purchasing at the Google Play bookstore. Broadview ebooks are available via Google Play in both PDF and EPUB format; in most cases, you can obtain both file types with a single purchase and can click back and forth between them to access different features.

How many devices can I authorize at one time?
Adobe’s authentication server limits the number of devices one can use at the same time to six. If you try and authorize your computer over and over again, you may have to contact Adobe to unlock your account.

Where else can I purchase Broadview ebooks?
Aside from our own website, Broadview ebooks are also available at Google Play and at Vital Source stores. These stores provide you with their custom reading apps and also offer tech support.
